He grew up in Leonard, ND, graduating from Leonard High School. Warren began working for Don's Northport Texaco of Fargo, before marrying Elizabeth Satrom on June 27, 1969 in Galesburg, ND. They then moved to West Fargo, ND and owned and operated the Southside Phillips 66 Station of Fargo. Later they moved to Kindred, ND, where he was co-owner of A and W Motors. Warren also managed the I - 29 Standard Station and the I - 29 Mobil Station, both of Fargo. He moved to Fargo in 1990, at which time he began working as an agent for Equitable Insurance of Fargo retiring in 2006. He has been working as an independent welding contractor. Warren truly loved to be outdoors, hunting or fishing. He was very active in archery. Warren was inducted into the North Dakota Bow hunters Hall of Fame and was also a member of Pope and Young Club and acted as an official scorer for them. He was also one of the founders of North Dakota Bow Hunters Association and was involved with writing its charter. Warren was also a founding member of the Sandhills Archery Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Pauline. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, Fargo, ND; son, Daryl, Fargo, ND; two daughters, Sharyl (Rick) Smith, Fargo, ND, Carol (Kevin) Heggeness, Fargo, ND; five grandchildren, Mackenzie, Riley and Lily Smith and Abigail and Jackson Heggeness. Visitation: Tuesday from 5 to 7 with a prayer service at 7 in West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND and one hour before the service in the church. Funeral Service: Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 at 11 in Peace Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Burial: Bethel Moravian Cemetery, rural Leonard, ND.
