Description	:	Wayne Bernard Jensen was born Nov. 11, 1921 on a farm near Royal in Clay County to James Johannes and Hazel Crane Jensen. He attended the Kenyon Country School and graduated from Peterson High School in 1939. He graduated from Iowa State University in 1944 with both bachelor of science and electronic engineering degrees. Wayne then went to work for the Naval Ordinance Lab in Washington, D. C. and while there was inducted into the Navy as an Ensign. In 1945 he was transferred to the Naval Research Lab in Washington, D. C. where he worked until moving to Pasadena, Calif, in 1953. Read More	Wayne Bernard Jensen was born Nov. 11, 1921 on a farm near Royal in Clay County to James Johannes and Hazel Crane Jensen. He graduated from Iowa State University in 1944 with both bachelor of science and electronic engineering degrees. Wayne then went to work for the Naval Ordinance Lab in Washington, D. C. and while there was inducted into the Navy as an Ensign. In 1945 he was transferred to the Naval Research Lab in Washington, D. C. where he worked until moving to Pasadena, Calif, in 1953. He worked for Consolidated Engineering Corporation which later became Burroughs. In June of 1958 he joined Consolidated Aircraft which later became General Dynamics. He lived in Altadena and Covina until moving to Claremont in 1962 where he lived until he retired and moved to Storm Lake in 1992. He was married to Julia Ryerson Hubbard on Aug. 24,1946 in New York City. She died in 1985. On Dec. 29, 1990 he was united in marriage to Barbara Ware White at La Verne, Calif. Wayne had many hobbies and interests including: coins, stamps, cups and saucers, Roycraft, citrus labels, videos, playing cards, computer software and programming and books. He attended the Storm Lake United Methodist Church and was a member of the San Bernadino Coin Club, the Buena Vista Coin Club and was currently serving as Secretary-Treasurer of the Storm Lake "Golden K" Kiwanis Club. Preceding him in death were his parents and his first wife, Julia.
