Description	:	Wayne E. Judge Sr., 80, of Garwin, Iowa, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Iowa River Hospice. Funeral services for Wayne will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior. Judge Sr., 80, of Garwin, Iowa, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Iowa River Hospice. Burial will be at the Garwin Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2015. Wayne Judge was born on January 10, 1935 in the Garwin area to Harold and Martha Judge. Wayne served his country honorably in the United States Army stationed in Korea, Wayne worked at a variety of professions over the years including farming, operating a tv and radio shop in Legrand and as the owner of Wayne Judge construction. On August 12, 1995, Wayne was united in marriage to Wanda Rager. Wayne was a member of the Mid Iowa Antique Power Association, he enjoyed restoring antique engines, hunting, he loved the Chicago Cubs and most importantly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Vicki (David) Pendell, Wayne E (Julie) Judge Jr., Ann Judge, Michael (Lauri) Judge, Melinda (Dan) Burton and John (Cari) Judge. Grandchildren: Tommy Taylor, Jacob Judge, Jasmine Judge, Adam Buhr, Nicholas Burton, Rachel Burton, Nathan Judge, & Isaac Judge. Wayne is also survived by his sister Beverly of New Smyrna Beach, FL. and brother Lee of Garwin IA. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife Wanda in 2014, his parents Harold and Martha and brother Dallas. Funeral Services for Wayne Edward Judge, 80, of Garwin, IA, were held Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Officiants were Rev. Glen Jaspers and Pastor Ed Hannahs. Mr. Judge was laid to rest in Garwin Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tommy Taylor, Adam Buhr, Jacob Judge, Nathan Judge, Isaac Judge and Nicholas Burton. Honorary Pallbearers were Tim Judge, Steve Buchanan, Rick Landt, Matt Damman, Adam Damman, Carl Martin, Paul Sams, John Vannordstrand, Al Price, Joe Parks and Randy Clough. Full Military Honors were provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #839 and by American Legion Posts in the Marshalltown Area. Along with family and friends, groups in attendance represented Fellowship Baptist Church, Iowa River Hospice and Edward Jones. Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Wayne and his family.
