Born Dec. 28, 1928, in White County, he was the son of Frank E. and Anna Pearl Haas Stotler. On Dec. 20, 1948, he was married in Monticello to Evalyn Bone, who survives. STOTLER MONTICELLO — Wayne E, Stotler, 65, of 610 Turpie St., died at 8: 15 a.m. Wednesday in White County Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 28, 1928, in White County, he was the son of Frank E. and Anna Pearl Haas Stotler. On Dec. 20, 1948, he was married in Monticello to Evalyn Bone, who survives. Mr. Stotler, a lifelong resident of Monticello, had worked at Monticello Lumber Company for 44 years. He also had worked at the front gate at Indiana Beach for several years. He was a member of F.O.E. Lodge No. 2570 and the American Legion, both of Monticello and the Moose Lodge of Lafayette. Mr. Stotler was a veteran of the Indiana National Guard. He was the bingo caller for the Eagles Lodge, and he enjoyed deer hunting. Also surviving are two sons, Michael E. and Rickey E., both of Monticello; one daughter, Misty F. Stotler, Monticello; three brothers, Raymond D., Royal Center, Delbert L., Monticello, and Dale E., Lafayette; two sisters, Helen Squires, Logansport, and Betty Hall, Arizona; and four grandchildren. One daughter, three brothers and two sisters preceded in death. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, with the Rev. Alvin Rockey officiating. Burial, with military rites, will be in Pike Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
