Description	:	Wayne S. Woodward, 82, of 11818 Peacock Trail, Hagerstown, Md., passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center. Born March 9, 1930, in Luray, Va., he was the son of the late Joseph Lawrence Woodward and Celeste Virginia Woodward. He was employed for 42 years with Potomac Edison Co. and retired in 1992 as a systems load dispatcher. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Jamie Baker will officiate. Burial will follow in Beaver Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
