Mr. Poindexter was born April 14, 1954 in Yadkin County to Weldon and Sadie Hutchins Poindexter. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Poindexter owned and operated Lee’s Garage in Boonville for many years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Poindexter was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Poindexter.
