Description	:	Wendelin S. Mosset, 85, of Strasburg, formerly of Linton, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006 in the Strasburg Care Center. Wendelin was born October 23, 1920, the son of Stanislaus and Theresa (Wikenheiser) Mosset, on a farm in the Winona area, west of Linton. He attended rural school. Read More	Wendelin S. Mosset, 85, of Strasburg, formerly of Linton, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006 in the Strasburg Care Center. Wendelin was born October 23, 1920, the son of Stanislaus and Theresa (Wikenheiser) Mosset, on a farm in the Winona area, west of Linton. He attended rural school. Wendelin married Otillia "Tillie" Vetter on Jan. 11, 1944, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. They made their home on a farm in the Winona area until 1945 when they moved to a farm six miles southeast of Linton. They moved into Linton in December of 1967. Wendelin worked for the sales barn for 24 years and the City of Linton from 1970 – 1985. Tillie died October 18, 2004. Wendelin entered the Strasburg Care Center in March of 2004. He was a member of the Linton Senior Citizens and St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Wendelin enjoyed reading papers, playing cards, watching television and visiting with family and friends. Grateful to have shared his life are two sons and two daughters-in-law, Alvin and Kathy Mosset of Linton and LeRoy and Judy Mosset of Mandan; four grandchildren, Valerie Ulmer of Bismarck, Brenda and her husband Abbas Alkhafaji of Bismarck, Conrad Mosset of Hudson, Wis., and Rhonda Mosset and special friend, Josh Bright of Maplewood, Minn., and five great-grandchildren, Devyn, Karissa and Joshua Ulmer and Adam and Nathan Alkhafaji. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one grandson-in-law, Jerod Ulmer, five sisters and brothers-in-law, Johanna and John Volk, Regina and Nick Hilzendeger, Stephena and John Schneider, Katie and John Wagner and Eva and Valentine Volk. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, at the KC Hall in Linton with Rev. Kenneth Phillips officiating. Gift bearers were Conrad Mosset, Valerie Ulmer, Brenda Alkhafaji and Rhonda Mosset.Communion minister was Lucinda Schneider. Mass servers were Devyn Ulmer and Elias Nagel. Casketbearers were Adam Johs, Abbas Alkhafaji, Jerome Schumacher,Tom Hilzendeger, Andy Hilzendeger and Richard Schumacher. Burial was in the St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Linton under the direction of Myers Funeral Home of Linton. Emmons County Record March 2, 2006
