Description	:	Wesley Warner, 66, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at Phelps County Memorial Hospital in Holdrege. Services were held Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Minden with the Rev. Dr. Bill Hunter officiating. Burial will be in the Minden Cemetery. Visitation is 7-8 p.m. today at Layton Funeral Home in Minden. He grew up in Kearney and graduated from Kearney High School. On Dec. 4, 1955, he married Jean Orcutt. They lived in Minden. From 1956-58 he served in the U.S. Army. He then worked for Nelson Motor's in Kearney in the body shop. He also worked at Fitzsimmons Furniture and Grayson Tool, both in Minden. He was a self employed antique auto restoration specialist for the past 25 years. In 1998 his wife died. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Minden American Legion Post No. 94. Survivors are one daughter, Cindy Burney of St. Joseph, Mo.; his father of Minden; and one brother, Al of Westminster, Colo. He was preceded in death by one son, Dean and his mother.
