He was born at home on the family farm on April 23, 1925 in Gackle, North Dakota. He married his childhood sweetheart, Patricia Rose Stuhr, on January 3, 1945 and together they raised three children: Larry (Buena Park, CA), Linda Beaudoin (Wildomar, CA) and Roger (Jamestown, ND). Read More	Wilbert Clarence Zillmer passed away at his son's home in Buena Park, CA on January 5, 2006, surrounded by his family. He was born at home on the family farm on April 23, 1925 in Gackle, North Dakota. He married his childhood sweetheart, Patricia Rose Stuhr, on January 3, 1945 and together they raised three children: Larry (Buena Park, CA), Linda Beaudoin (Wildomar, CA) and Roger (Jamestown, ND). He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Mable, brothers Raymond and Wayne, and Patricia, his loving wife of 56 years. He is survived by his children, a sister, four brothers, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. After moving to California in 1959, Wilbert worked at various construction jobs, including the original MGM Hotel in Las Vegas, the Arco Towers in Los Angeles, and the San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant. He retired from Laborer's Local 300, Los Angeles. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, the Prospector's Club of Sou. California and the Gold Prospector's Assn. of America. He enjoyed any and all types of treasure hunting, whether it was metal detecting, dredging in a river or dry washing in the desert. His children thank him for being a loving and honorable husband to their mother, a father they admired and respected, and a loving grandfather and great-grandfather. He instilled in them a strong sense of family, a love of music, and a sense of adventure. All who knew and loved him will miss him dearly. It comforts his family to know that he is at peace and back in the arms of his loving wife. A waltz and polka are probably on their dance card. Graveside services in Wildomar, CA. will be private.
