Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Bartlett, with military rites performed by the Bartlett American Legion, Post 107 following the service. Burial will be at a later date. Mr. Sears was born Nov. 8, 1927, in Wallworth to Earl and Ida (Garner) Sears. He married Viola Brown in Pierre, SD, in 1957. She preceded him in 1970. Wilbur was born on November 8, 1927, in Walworth, NE, to Earl and Ida (Garner) Sears. Dale attended country school near Taylor, NE. and Taylor (NE.) High School. He served in the U.S. Army from June of 1946, to November of 1947, during World War II. He married Viola Brown in Pierre, S.D., in 1957. She passed away in 1970. He was a long term truck driver and pumped gravel for several years between Burwell and Taylor. Dale is preceded in death by: wife, Viola Sears, infant daughter; Brothers, Ray, Don, and Bob Sears, and parents. Dale is survived by: daughter, Mary Sears, of Ainsworth, NE.; Brothers and Sister in law, Gary and Connie Sears of Aurora, NE. and John and Shirley Sears of Ord, NE.; Sisters in law, Donna Sears of Bartlett, NE., Marilys Sears of Burwell, NE. and Luann Sears of Grand Island, NE. and ex wife Barb Sears, of Fremont, NE.
