Description	:	Muscatine Iowa; Wilbur Dipple Jr. of Muscatine passed away Sunday February 2, 2014 at Carrington Place. Funeral sevice will be held at 10a.m. on Friday February 7, 2014 at the Ralph J.Wittich Riley Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Shelley Nelson of Ziegler Memorial Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Montpelier Cemetery/ A potluck lunchen will be held at the Buffalo Community Center following the committal service. Wilbur was born on December 7, 1937 in Muscatine, the son of Wilbur Henry and Lydia Frances Truesdale Dipple. He married Irene Kinsley on January 3,1959 at the New Era Church.and they later divorced in 1970. He worked for Oscar Meyer retiring when he was 53. He worked as a bartender at the Chart House. He was an avid Hawkeye fan, liked to bowl and play softball and was a volunteer fireman. Those left to honor his memory include three sons, Terry Dipple and wife Regina of Blue Grass, Tom Dipple of Montpelier, and Jeff Diple and wife Camy of Muscatine, four daughters, Robin Davis and husband Alvin of Kirkwood Ill. Pam Koralewski and husband Kevin of Tucson Arizonia, Bev Dipple of Wilton, and Cris Collins and husband Donnie of Buffalo. 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one brother, Larry Dipple and wife Sandra of Fairport, two sisters, Mary McDonald of Fairport, nd Iona of Muscatine and a special friend Shirley Garvin. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Louis Dipple one sister Isabel, and two great grandchildren.
