PRESSON DIES AT UNIONVILLE Had Served Faithfully for 25 Years Rural Route Carrier. Wilburn B Presson died at his borne at Unionville Saturday night at 12:30. Death came as a great shock to his family since he had been in seemingly good health until a few minutes before the end. It Is believed he died of a heart attack, possibly brought about by an attack of acute indigestion. He was on the streets of Monroe Saturday and apparently in good health. Mr. Presson had served faithfully and well for the past 25 years as rural mail carrier on Route No. 1 from Unionville. He was a member of the Methodist church and a splendid citizen. He was a son of E. E. Presson of Unionville. His first marriage was to Miss Minnie Love, a daughter of T. L. Love, and by this union there are a son and daughter, Tom Presson and Miss Olivia Presson. His second marriage was to Miss Mable Willeford, who died about ten years ago. Brothers are Wriston, Ira, Vance and Robert Presson, and sisters Mrs. Hampton Presson, Mrs. Bradford Hinson and Mrs. Lydia Howey, all of this county. Funeral was held at two o'clock this afternoon in the Unionville Methodist church of which the deceased was a member with interment in the Presson cemetery nearby.
