Description	:	Wilda Fern (Gnegy) Davy, 81, Mtn. Lake Park, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. Born March 25, 1928, in Garrett County, she was a daughter of the late Dewey Elwood and Sadie Alice (Slaubaugh) Gnegy. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Darrell, and Dale; and two sisters, Lorene Gnegy Dodge and Ruth Gnegy Arnold. Read More	Wilda Fern (Gnegy) Davy, 81, Mtn. Lake Park, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. Born March 25, 1928, in Garrett County, she was a daughter of the late Dewey Elwood and Sadie Alice (Slaubaugh) Gnegy. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Darrell, and Dale; and two sisters, Lorene Gnegy Dodge and Ruth Gnegy Arnold. Mrs. Davy at one time worked at Southern High School's cafeteria and also for Bausch & Lomb. She was a member of the Oak Park Church of the Brethren, where she served as a deaconess, and was a member of the Wednesday Quilter's group and the Women's Fellowship group. She also bowled with a women's bowling league for many years. She is survived by two sons, Michael W. Davy, Gaithersburg, and John E. Davy, Newport News, Va.; four daughters, Joan D. Williamson and Judy A. Lindgren, both of Richmond, Va., Kathleen W. Todd, Blackshear, Ga., and Barbara L. Niner, Oakland; two brothers, Lorraine Gnegy, Oakland, and Merlin Gnegy, Somerset, Pa., and Bradenton, Fla.; one sister, Ruby Gnegy Harvey, Dillon, Mont.; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at David A. Burdock Funeral Home, Oakland, on Thursday, Jan. 28, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the Oak Park Church of the Brethren on Friday, Jan. 29, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Donald Matthews and Rev. Carl Fike officiating. Interment will follow in Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
