Read More	Wilfred H. Dommer, 92, of 209 S. Moore, Ottumwa, die at 425 p.m. June 6, 1997, at hiss home. He was born Aug. 5, 1904, in Davis County to Chris and Mary Koebke Dommer. He married Greta Ours on May 23, 1925, in Fairview. She died Jan. 30, 1997. He worked in the shipping department at John Deere and Co. until his retirement in 1967. He was a charter member in 1925 of the First Church of the Nazarene, a member of the Church Primetimers, former deacon, usher and treasurer at the church and was the Polk township assessor and school director for many years. He is survived by two sons, Wil of Edmond, Okla, and Dewane of Ottumwa; three daughters, Ruth Miller of Bloomfield, Arline Thomas of Peoria, Ariz, and Joy Dommer of Ottumwa; 20 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Stanley LaVerne; a brother; three sisters; and two grandchildren. The service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Alexander-Johnson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Grover Branson and the Rev Eugene Smith officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. today at the funeral chapel, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
