Kremer, 74, of Miller, South Dakota died Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at Hand County Memorial Hospital in Miller. He was born June 28, 1927 at Crofton, Knox Co., Nebraska to Joseph and Elizabeth (Ausdemore) Kremer. He grew up in the Crofton area and attended Crofton Catholic School. He married Delores Tramp on August 26, 1947. They were parents of two daughters and two sons. He farmed with his father and worked on the dam in Yankton, SD until moving to Pierre in 1950. While there, he worked construction and was bartender at the Central Bar. In 1962, the family moved to St. Lawrence, South Dakota. He purchased the Sportsman's Lounge, changing the name to "Willie's", which he and Delores ran together until her health failed. He continued to operate the bar until his retirement in 1995. He maried Sheryl (__) Heezen on July 16, 1993. He moved into Prairie Good Samaritan Center in October 2000. He is survived by his wife Sheryl; daughters, Carolyn (Bill) Troth of Cherokee, Iowa, and Brenda (Vern) Hellwig of Rapid City; two sons, Urban (Sharon) Kremer of Huron and Steve Kremer of Huron; three step-sons, Craig, Brian and Curt Heezen; brother, Tony Kremer of Crofton, Nebraska, sister, Lucy Paulson of Coleridge, Nebraska; seven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his wife Delores October 27, 1991; his parents,; five brothers, Joe, Henry, Al, Herb, and Clarence; two sisters, Sophie Hutchmeier and Monica Wiese. Funeral: March 14 - St. Ann's Catholic Church, Miller, SD. Officiating: Fr. Terry Weber. Burial: St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Miller, SD. Casketbearers: Brandon Kremer, Brent Kremer, William Troth, Vern Hellwig, Craig Heezen and George Engelmann. Arrangements: Reck Funeral Home, Miller, SD.
