Mr. Leggett was afflicted with rheumatism and heart trouble, which finally ran into anemia. We understand Mr. Leggett was born in Center Junction although he has spent the greater part of his life in Nebraska, coming back to Center Junction a few years ago and engaging in the mercantile business with D.S. Ward, his brother-in-law, in the capacity of salesman. After his marriage to Miss Nettie French, he moved to the farm where he resided until he passed away. Mr. Leggett was aged 30 years, 4 months and 13 days. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, two daughters and one son, also his mother, two sisters, Mrs. D.S. Ward and Mrs. Art Powell, of Center Junction and one brother, William Leggett of Garden, Nebraska, all of whom were in attendance at the funeral, which occurred, Monday afternoon, at the Presbyterian church, of which Mr. Leggett was a member. Rev. Elges, the pastor preached an excellent sermon from the text, "He that is guilty of the breaking of one is guilty of all". The choir rendered excellent music and there were many beautiful flowers. Mrs. Leggett has the sympathy of the entire community in this her greatest bereavement.
