Description	:	Wilhelm Heinrick GEIGER, was born 17 Dec 1807 at Stuttgart, Württemberg, Germany, the son of Christina Magdalena BADER and Johann Freiderich GEIGER. Wilhelm was christened on 25 Dec 1807 at Stuttgart, Württemberg, Germany. He left his native land and migrated to America, arriving at the Port of New York on June 10, 1829. He worked at various jobs in New York before moving on to Holmes County, Ohio becoming a farmer. Wilhelm was christened on 25 Dec 1807 at Stuttgart, Württemberg, Germany. He left his native land and migrated to America, arriving at the Port of New York on June 10, 1829. D. 1830 On motion in open court here personally appeared William GEIGER, an alien who upon his solemn oath declares that he was born in the kingdom of Wurttemberg in Europe in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seven and is now about twenty three years of age from whence he migrated and arrived at the port of New York in the United States on the tenth day of June A. D. 1829. That his present place of residence is in the county of Holmes Ohio., that it is bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance to any and every foreign prince potentate & Sovereignty whatever particularly the King of Wurttemberg.” Wilhelm was married 11 Oct 1832 in Holmes County, OH by David SHEARER, to Maria SUMMERLOTT. The family moved to the Huntington County, Indiana area in about 1869, before moving on westward to Fairview, Brown County, Kansas around 1878. Wilhelm died 01 Nov 1903 at Fairview, Brown County, Kansas.
