Description	:	Mrs. Wilhelmina Habecker, wife of Louis Habecker, died at her home two miles northeast of Surprise, on Wednesday, March 1. Death was from inflammatory rheumatism. All that medical aid could do to save her life was in vain. She was in her fifty eighth year. The funeral services were held in the German Lutheran church northeast of Surprise on Saturday, March 5. Read More	Mrs. Wilhelmina Habecker, wife of Louis Habecker, died at her home two miles northeast of Surprise, on Wednesday, March 1. Death was from inflammatory rheumatism. Interment was in the cemetery adjoining the church. Wilhelmina Caroline Linde was born in Kautzschenburg, Germany, January 20, 1859. She grew to womanhood in Germany. On November 19, 1881 she was united in marriage to Louis Habecker. To them seven children, four daughters and three sons, were born. Two sons and one daughter preceded her to the Great Beyond. In the spring of 1883 Mr. and Mrs. Habecker came to the United States from Germany and settled on a farm in Butler County near Surprise, where they continued to reside with the exception of one year in Seward County. Mrs. Habecker was a devoted wife and mother and an earnest Christian. She is survived by her husband, one son and three daughters, one brother, two sisters and two grandchildren.
