Description	:	Minnie Johanna Bahls Wolff oldest of 12 children was born October 14, 1882 in Calhoun County to Charles and Mary Glawe Bahls. When a small girl, she moved to Emmetsburg where she received her education and taught four years in the country school She was baptised in the Methodist Church in Emmetsburg and until overcome by ill health was a faithful member She died December 30, 1958 at Merch Hospital in Fort Dodge at the age of 76 years, two months and 16 days She was married to Herman Wolff on June 25, 1904 in Mason City. They farmed in Clay and Palo Alto counties until their retirement in 1945. Since October of 1943 she has made her home with her youngest daughter, Mrs. Emil (Pearl) Schwardt To this union were born three daughters and five sons. They are; Inez Gahoe Cooper; Mrs. Evan (Irene) Philip, Loup City, Nebraska; Mrs. Emil (Pearl) Schwardt, Fonda, Carl, Ayrshire; Arlo, Spencer; Leonard, Chester, Harvey , Emmetsburg and Earl of West Des Moines She is also survived by seven sisters and four brothers. They are, Mrs. August (Louise) Paporis, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Mrs. Anna Walker, Hampton; Mrs. R.H. (Emma) Nye, Sheridan, Wyoming; Mrs. Bruno (Jennie) Peterson, Newton; Clara Bahls, Emmetsburg; Mrs. Vance (Mable) Gile, Ruthven; Mrs. William (Myrtle) Peterson, Linwood, California; William Bahls, Spencer; Edward, Robert and Harold Bahls of Austin, Minnesota. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband, July 30, 1955 and her parents and a brother, Orville, who died in infancy Funeral services were held, Friday, January 2 at the Warner Chapel with Rev. Floyd Hinshaw officiating. Ray Pietz sang The Old Rugged Cross and, In The Garden, accompanied by Mrs. Lowell Hagedorn Pallbearers were Byron Brinkley, Claude Brinkley, Fred Potee, Al Gibson, James Fogerty, Edward Dahl Spencer Daily Reporter, Spencer, Clay County, Iowa January 5, 1959 Interment in North Lawn Cemetery
