Mrs. Jahn, the former Minnie Louisa Utesch, was born March 30, 1898, to Paul and Louisa Jans Utesch, rural Merrill. She was a lifelong resident of Plymouth county. She had been a sewing machine operator at Aalfs Mfg. She married Walter Buhman in 1915. He died in 1923. She married William Jahn in 1928. He died in 1960. She was a member of St. John American Lutheran Church. Survivors are a son, Marvin Buhman of Le Mars; a daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Marvel) Johnson of Le Mars; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward of Le Mars and William G. of Akron, and one sister, Mrs. Alfred (Myrtle) Doering of Merrill.
