Mrs. Wm. jargo was born in Mecklenberg, Germany, January 8, 1828 and died Saturday morning September 24, 1904, at her home near Teeds Grove, at the age of 76 years 8 months and 16 days. Mrs. Wm. jargo was born in Mecklenberg, Germany, January 8, 1828 and died Saturday morning September 24, 1904, at her home near Teeds Grove, at the age of 76 years 8 months and 16 days. She was married to Wm. Jargo may 25, 1853, and sailed at once for America. After a few years they settled on the old homestead near Teeds Grovve where they lived for 36 years. This union was blessed with five sons, one dying in infancy and another when quite young. The three remaining sons are still in this community, Wm. C. and Ernest of Miles, and Chas. of Teeds Grove. Mrs. Jargo has been a patient sufferer for years and since the death of her husband she has gradually failed until a week before her death when she was taken seriously ill and was a great sufferer until death came to her relief. her husband died and was buried just thirteen months to a day before her. The funeal was held at the Teeds Grove church Tuesday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. A. T. Bishop, of the M. E. church of Miles and took Rev. 22:5 for his test, and showing the _____ the mind of the Heavenly Father toward his children in providing for them a perfect lift beyond this world. A large concourse of people were present showing thereby the high esteem in which she was held by her neighbors and friends.
