Description	:	The Scribner Rustler September 19, 1912 Page 1, Col. 6 Mrs. Wihelmina Johanna Peter, who was confined to her bed for sometime, passed away at her home Saturday. Sept. 14. The deceased was born in Keatt Magleburger Schiverian, Germnay. In the year 1863 she came to America and settled in Ohio. The same year she was united in marriage to Johann F. Peters. From there they moved to Iowa. In 1873 they came to Nebraska and settled down in Dodge county five miles southeast of this place. Read More	The Scribner Rustler September 19, 1912 Page 1, Col. 6 Mrs. Wihelmina Johanna Peter, who was confined to her bed for sometime, passed away at her home Saturday. Sept. 14. The deceased was born in Keatt Magleburger Schiverian, Germnay. In the year 1863 she came to America and settled in Ohio. The same year she was united in marriage to Johann F. Peters. From there they moved to Iowa. In 1873 they came to Nebraska and settled down in Dodge county five miles southeast of this place. Thirty-two years they lived on the old home place,about four years ago they retired from he farm and moved to Scribner. About two years later her husband passed away leaving her a widow with seven grown children to mourn his death. Mrs. Peters was a devoted and loving mother and was one of the sterling pioneers of this community and enjoyed the high respect of her neighbors and acquaintances. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the Luthern St. Pauls's church north-east of town, Rev. Durkopp of Ridgeley, officiating. A large concourse of relatives and friends gathered to pay their last respects. Those acting as pall bearers were; Theo. Windhusen, John Studt, Henry Schellenberg, Henry Dierks, Gerhard Rastede and William Haseman. Interment was made in the cemetery of the above named church beside her husband.hhw
