Description	:	Wilhemina Elina Reynolds (Minnie), 83, was called home to be with our Lord on March 24, 2003. She was born February 2, 1920 in Franklin, Minnesota to Frank and Sandra Isaacson. She attended school in Grygla, Minnesota and in 1934 moved to Williston, North Dakota to work for a family farming operation. In 1942 she moved to Seattle, Washington and became a welder for the Sea-Tac Shipbuilding Corp. Read More	Wilhemina Elina Reynolds (Minnie), 83, was called home to be with our Lord on March 24, 2003. She was born February 2, 1920 in Franklin, Minnesota to Frank and Sandra Isaacson. She attended school in Grygla, Minnesota and in 1934 moved to Williston, North Dakota to work for a family farming operation. In 1942 she moved to Seattle, Washington and became a welder for the Sea-Tac Shipbuilding Corp. It was there she met Robert Scott Reynolds (Scotty) and they married in Denver, Colorado on September 26, 1947. They moved to Los Anglels, California that year and she began working for the National Biscuit Co. until 1951 when she became a mother and full-time homemaker. During the late 50's and early 60's Minnie was an avid volunteer for the Heart Funded Cancer Society. She was also a Past President of the Washington Elementary P.T.A. in Montebello, California and was a Cub Scout Den Mother and Girl Scout Leader Assistant for several years. in 1966 her family moved to a farm near Minatare, Nebraska. Upon her husband's death in 1968, Minnie began working at the Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska until her retirement in May of 1997. In February of 1998, she moved to Yuma and resided at Desert Rose where she actively participated in activities, helped other residents, and was crowned "Queen" of Desert Rose for the year 2001. A confirmed Luteran, she also regularly attended church services at Desert Rose. She is survived by her daughter Lynette Curry (Bill) of Yuma; son Eugene Reynolds (Peggy) of Colorado; sisters Hilya Setten of California, Mary Welch of Minnesota, Gail Morin of Florida and Ann Lair of Minnesota; grandchildren Nikki Reynolds of Washington, Dr. Jeremy Curry (Sheba) of Tucson, Vanessa Reynolds of Colorado and Kimberly Curry of Yuma; great-grandchildren Jakob Curry, Jordan Curry, Bobby Martinez and Shanae Martinez all of Tucson, and loving friend George Tinsley. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Sandra Isaacson, husband Robert Reynolds, sister Ida Isaacson and brother Isaac Isaacson. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 29, 2003 at Desert Rose officiated by Pastor Ellerman. Interment will occur at a later date. Final resting place will be at East Lawn Cemetery in Minatare, Nebraska. Minnie was loved dearly by her family and many friends, both here and in Nebraska. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Yuma.
