Description	:	Mrs. Willadean Naylor Barefoot was born on December 29th, 1925 in the Herring Community of North Carolina. Dean passed away peacefully on September 21st, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents Aaron Miles and Florida Butler; brothers, Colee and Vernon Naylor; sisters, Reva McLamb and Rochelle Wrench. Dean passed away peacefully on September 21st, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents Aaron Miles and Florida Butler; brothers, Colee and Vernon Naylor; sisters, Reva McLamb and Rochelle Wrench. Dean graduated from Herring High and attended Queen Business College in Charlotte. Dean married the love of her life, Hunter Elvin Barefoot, who preceded her in death in the year of 1998. Dean is survived by her son, Terry and his wife Vicki of Cary, North Carolina and daughter, Kay Butler Barefoot of Oxford, Mississippi. Dean was affectionately known as Grandma to Grandson Jeremy and his wife Mallory of Raleigh, and Adam Barefoot of Tampa, Florida, as well as daughter Kay's sons. Hunter of San Diego, California, Noah of Naval Air Station Whiting Field and Elijah of the Outer Banks. She is also cherished by her great grandsons, Seth and Wyatt of Raleigh. In addition, she was a beloved Aunt to many and had a special relationship to nieces and nephews, especially her niece Julie Mason and her family of Dunn. Dean loved being around people and entertaining. She served many meals to anyone who would stop by to visit. Because of her love for sweets, Dean always had a fresh dessert prepared. She was very appreciative of her Hickory Grove Church Community and relished time spent with friends. Some have described her as the quintessential Southern Lady as she loved God, family and friends and was happiest when cooking for any of them. Dean would be very satisfied knowing that her surviving family and friends remember her humor and how much she enjoyed all her time with them. A Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, September 24th at 3:00pm at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. The family received guests immediately following the graveside service
