Burial the Jackson Township Cemetery in Montezuma. William Allen Gregory was the son of Oral Floyd and Mae Angeline Jordan Gregory. He attended Montezuma High School. Burial the Jackson Township Cemetery in Montezuma. William Allen Gregory was the son of Oral Floyd and Mae Angeline Jordan Gregory. He attended Montezuma High School. He was married to Marla Griffin on July 9, 1961. To this union four children were born; Allen, Niesje, David and Roger. He worked at the Phillips Gas Station in Montezuma and also for the Carmen Johnson Elevator at Ewart, Iowa. He also farmed part-time and began his 38-year career working for the DOT, retiring in 2000 due to his health. During his time with the DOT, Bill worked at the Montezuma shop before going to Malcom where he was a supervisor. He also served as an Auxiliary Policeman in Montezuma. After retirement, he enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, western movies, and RFD. He always attended his children's sporting events including football and track when they were younger. Family was very important to Bill and he never missed a Christmas or New Year's holiday due to his work. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to him.
