Funeral services for Mr. Basquin were held from St. Paul's church in North Manchester on Sunday, the Rev. E. D. Wells officiating, and burial was made in Edgewood. In 1875, when a mere infant, Mr. Basquin came with his parents to this county, the family locating near Edgewood. There he grew to manhood and on Nov. 14, 1894, was married to Miss Emeline C. Baysinger of Edgewood. To them fiver children were born, as follow: Mrs. Arthur Bowden of Masonville, Ralph of Fayette, Lloyd, who died in infancy, and Lawrence and Blanche of this city. The mother passed away here on Oct. 8, 1919 and on March 14, 1920, Mr. Basquin was married to Mrs. Minnie Wakefiled of this place. He is survived by his widow, the children named, five grandchildren and three stepchildren, his aged mother, who resides at Greeley, and by six sisters and two brothers. Mr. Basquin's father passed away in 1911. Mr. Basquin's long illness was a severe trial of his fortitutde, but he endured it with patientce, looking forward to the rest ad peace of the home above.
