Mr. Lipsey was born in Jonesville, SC June 7, 1934, a son of the late Willie Andrew Lipsey and Pauline Smith Lipsey. He retired from Mayfair Mills and was a former member of the South Carolina National Guard. Mr. Lipsey was a member of Jonesville Baptist Church. Mr. Lipsey was born in Jonesville, SC June 7, 1934, a son of the late Willie Andrew Lipsey and Pauline Smith Lipsey. He retired from Mayfair Mills and was a former member of the South Carolina National Guard. Mr. Lipsey was a member of Jonesville Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty-eight years are two daughters: Lisa Lipsey Garner and Tracie Lipsey Kirby both of Jonesville; three sisters: Betty Proctor and husband Donald of Jonesville, Margie Robinette of Pacolet and Joann Barnes of Gaffney; a brother, Bobby Lipsey and wife Joyce of Jonesville; three grandchildren: Jennifer Wilkins, Matthew Duckett and wife Bridgett and Savannah Kirby; five great-grandchildren: Jake Duckett, RJ Wilkins, Alex Wilkins, Will Eaves and Ryleigh Ann Kirby; sister-in-law, Elaine Lawson and husband Bobby, brothers-in-law, Charles Patterson and wife Shirley and Ned Harrold, a sister-in-law, Hazel Patterson and special friends, the Dale Inman family. Mr. Lipsey was predeceased by a brother, Ty Lipsey. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, July 20, 2014 at the Lipsey Family Plot at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Preacher Larry Holland. Mr. Lipsey's nephews will serve as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday evening at the Holcombe's
