Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, at Henderson-Baker Funeral Home in West Branch. A memorial fund has been established. William Bernard Kron Jr., was born November 15, 1949, in Iowa City, the son of William B. Sr., and Evelyna (Cole) Kron. He attended Regina High School in Iowa City and was a graduate of City High in the Class of 1967. He married Sandy Harris and were the parents of a daughter Kim. William and Sandy were later divorced. He then married Catherine Mayla and were the parents of two daughters, Angelina and Keszia. William and Catherine were later divorced. He then married Debra Schmidt on April 21, 1995, in Iowa City and were the parents of Jathan and DaLana. He was a businessman all his life, owning and operating a gas station off Interstate 80 in Iowa City and owning and operating Hawkeye Country Auto in Iowa City until 1999, when he moved to West Branch with the business. He was active in many things, his community and many school programs. Survivors include his wife, Debra of West Branch; four daughters, Kim (Jim) Schmidt of Eau Claire, WI, Angelina Jones of Belle Plaine, Keszia (Bryce) Hale of Dunnellon, FL, and DaLana Kron of West Branch; one son, Jathan Kron of Iowa City; seven grandchildren, Hunter Koenig, Andrew Schmidt, Ben Schmidt, Brittany Jones, Lewis Jones, Crystal Walsh, Siena Hale; and one brother, Steve (Amy) Kron of Iowa City. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Douglas Kron and one sister, Tresa Kron. Henderson-Barker Funeral Home
