B. Ingvoldstad, 81, pioneer Decorah business man, died in his sleep Thursday morning while visiting a brother, the Rev. Orlando Ingvoldstad, at Long Lake, Ill. He had been in the lumber business 63 years, 58 for himself Born June 21, 1875, he was married to Sophia Larson of Decorah on Aug. 28, 1903. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Carsten, Lester, and Kenneth, all of Decorah and associated with their father in the lumber business; two brothers, Walter of Decorah, and the Rev. Mr. Ingvoldstad, and a sister, Mrs. Floyd Moore of Spooner, Wis. Mr. Involdstad was a lifelong member of the Decorah Lutheran church, served as its Sunday school teacher 25 years and held many other offices in the church. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary club. He served on the board of trustees at the Aase Haugen Home for the Aged People for 41 years. He also was a member of the board of education of the Evangelical Church and was trustee of St. Olaf college. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:a.m. at the Decorah Lutheran church.
