Read More	Mr. William "Billy" Boyd Nolan, Sr., age 68, beloved husband of the late Mary Perkins Nolan, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence after an illness. Born in Marlboro County, SC on December 17, 1943, he was the son of the late John Thomas Nolan and Edith Lundy Nolan. He retired on March 30, 2012 from INA Bearing in Cheraw, SC, where he was a maintenance technician and graduated from Lower Marlboro High School Class of 1962. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church and a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. Mr. Billy was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and a true family man. He enjoyed taking horse and buggy rides with his late wife and best friend Mary, who passed away on November 27, 2011. He lived life to the fullest and loved joking, laughing and eating fish with his family and friends. Funeral services will be held 5:00 P.M. on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Salem Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Family visitation will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 7-9P.M. at Burroughs Cooper Kiser Funeral Home. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Collins and husband, David Collins of Bennettsville and Pamela Nolan Ferry and husband, Gregory Paul Ferry of Bennettsville; a son, William "Will" Boyd Nolan, Jr. of Bennettsville; two brothers, John L. Nolan and wife, Eula of Blenheim and Danny Nolan and wife, Mary Lou of Blenheim; four sisters, Juanita Parker and husband, Junious of Chesapeake, VA, Helen Webster of Conway, SC, Grace Henderson of Moncks Corner, SC and Martha "Marty" Williams and husband, Mike of Blenheim; six grandchildren, Greg Collins, Angela Collins, Ashley Thomas, Lorrie Thomas, Allen Nolan and Aaron Nolan. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife listed above; brothers, H. Listen Nolan, Carloss T. Nolan and Mickey Nolan; sisters, Maxine Childress and Elease N. Jungkunz; brothers- in -law, Curtiss Childress, Charlie Webster and James "Bud" Henderson; and a sister-in-law, Emma Nolan. Memorials are suggested to: Salem Baptist Church, 1618 Salem Road, Bennettsville, SC 29512.
