Description	:	William Brennan, son of Michael Brennan and Margaret Kerrans, was born on October 5, 1862, near Darnick, Grey County, Ontario, Canada, and departed this life of January 25, 1936, in the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska, at the age of 73 years. When he was nine years of age, after the death of his father,, he with his mother and three brothers, James, Thomas and Edward, moved to Pierson Michigan, where they resided until 1877 at which time they came to Nebraska, locating at Overton in Dawson County. Read More	William Brennan, son of Michael Brennan and Margaret Kerrans, was born on October 5, 1862, near Darnick, Grey County, Ontario, Canada, and departed this life of January 25, 1936, in the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska, at the age of 73 years. When he was nine years of age, after the death of his father,, he with his mother and three brothers, James, Thomas and Edward, moved to Pierson Michigan, where they resided until 1877 at which time they came to Nebraska, locating at Overton in Dawson County. They located here for a short period of time when they then moved to Perkins county, Nebraska. After living there for seven years he returned to Overton, where he resided until the time of his death. He was one of the few remaining pioneers of Dawson County. He is survived by one brother, Thomas of Overton, 2 nephews and 6 nieces. The Rev. John J. Kavanaugh, pastor of the Immaculate Conception church, Elm Creek Nebraska, celebrated a requiem mass for the repose of his soul on Tuesday morning, Jan 28, 1936. Pallbearers were Michael Muldoon, Richard Williams, James Priel, Pat Priel, John Weaver and Charles Wilson. Interment was made in the Elm Creek Catholic Cemetery.
