He was nearly eighty years of age and highly respected by all his neighbors during the many years he had resided in the township. The funeral will occur today at 10 o’clock. The deceased served as trustee of his township a number of years ago, and held other responsible positions. Interment in Hamilton Cemetery. Mr Brown was a pioneer of DeKalb county. About fifty years ago he married Miss Elizabeth Gunsenhouser. Together they faithfully fought life’s battle and honorably won a competency in this life, and by faith in Christ and obedience to Him prepared from themselves a home in the spirit world. He leaves a good name, an aged companion, four sons and four daughters, and numerous friends to keep him in precious memory. ~submitted by Merllene #47157899
