Sentinel Obit. - 14 Dec. 1900 - Browningsville - This entire community is saddened by the death last Tuesday night of William Chapman Beall. After some three weeks of painful suffering he passed away just when all his friends were most hopeful for his recovery. He leaves a wife and six children and was in the 38th year of his age. His death was caused by an injury received in trying to stop a run-away team of horses. No man in this community was more respected than the above. There was no higher type Christian man in this county than the deceased. His funeral service was in Bethesda M.E. Church, Rev. E.E. Marshall preaching the sermon. The subject of this sketch had wisely provided for his family by securing a policy on his life for a comfortable sum. Truly a Christian Man passed from our midst. Children: Jesse J.
