Bill, the son of Robert and Dorothy (Kinart) Neasham, was born on March 13, 1932, in Jasper County. He was a lifelong resident of rural Newton. Surviving are his children, Brenda (Les) Van Brogen of Newton and Billy (Gena) Neasham of Newton; grandchildren, Noella (Blaine) Barker, Chase (Kayli) Van Brogen, Sophia Neesham, Jerry (Amber) Van Brogen, Sasha Paul, Landon (Julie) Deeter, and Andrea (Cory) Keller; 15 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ruth Rusk of Newton and Jim (Charlene) Neasham of Newton.
