Description	:	Another old pioneer of this section, in the person of William Christmas Bartram, has answered the final summons. Following an illness of 2 years, he passed away at the home of his son, Donald, Saturday, May 2. The deceased was born Dec. 25, 1861, near Gilman, Iroquois Co, Ill., and at the age of 12 years went with his parents to Warren Co, Iowa. In the year 1903 he came to Washington, locating on a homestead south of Chelan Butte, where he resided until 1930, when he moved to the present home on the north shore of Lake Chelan. Mr.... Following an illness of 2 years, he passed away at the home of his son, Donald, Saturday, May 2. The deceased was born Dec. 25, 1861, near Gilman, Iroquois Co, Ill., and at the age of 12 years went with his parents to Warren Co, Iowa. In the year 1903 he came to Washington, locating on a homestead south of Chelan Butte, where he resided until 1930, when he moved to the present home on the north shore of Lake Chelan. Mr. Bartram was married March 23, 1892, to Miss Lizzie J. Gordon, at Milo, Iowa, and to this union were born seven children, two of which died in infancy. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Georgia Peterson, Chelan; four sons, Franklin of Cle Elum, Donald of Chelan, Adrian of Grand Coulee and Keith of Wenatchee. Also two sisters, Mrs. Emily Miller, Chicago, and Mrs. Fay Parsans, Everett; one brother, George Bartram, Pullman; and 12 grandchildren. The funeral services were held from the Chelan M. E. church Tuesday. W. R. Higgins was in charge.
