Description	:	William Coe, for more than fifty years a resident of Iowa, died at his home 1317 Monona Street, on Tuesday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock. Death was caused from a complication of diseases. The deceased was born September 5th, 1829, in Muskingum County, Ohio, and resided there until 1854, when he removed to Iowa. On February 5th, 1857, he was united in marriage to Miss Bethenia Harden, who died in 1891 (sic). The deceased was born September 5th, 1829, in Muskingum County, Ohio, and resided there until 1854, when he removed to Iowa. On February 5th, 1857, he was united in marriage to Miss Bethenia Harden, who died in 1891 (sic). Ten children were born to this union, six of whom are living: Mrs. Lidia Morts, of Corwith, Iowa; Miss Mina, at home; John of Elmore, Minnesota; Charles of Peoria, Illinois; Curtis of Gage, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Louise Riggs of this city. Two brothers, Samuel and Alphus, also survive. The deceased was injured at the time the late Charles Smith met his death by falling from a load of hay in June of last year and never fully recovered from the shock. The funeral was held Thursday morning at 10:00 o'clock from the residence, Rev. A. H. Collins, of the First M.E. church, officiating, and the remains laid to rest in the Mineral Ridge cemetery.
