Brandt at his home just east of Holyoke. Apparently in ordinary health, Mr. Brandt retired Tuesday evening feeling fine. Death overtook him without warning about 4:30 Wednesday morning. The Brandt family came to Holyoke about five years ago from Hereford, Colorado and settled down on the farm of Mrs. Dora Summers just east of Holyoke. Here they have lived and have made many friends in the course of that period of time. Mr. Brandt was born at Milford, Nebraska March 26, 1879, and was nearly 50 years of age at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife and several children, most of who are grown. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the Presbyterian Church under the auspices of the German Lutheran Church. Holyoke Enterprise, Holyoke, CO, 27 Sep 1928 LARGE NUMBER AT WM. BRANDT FUNERAL Services Conducted At Presbyterian Church Saturday Afternoon The Presbyterian Church was filled to capacity Saturday afternoon as the friends and relatives of the late Wm. C. Brandt gathered to pay their final respects to his passing. The service was in charge of Colver Brothers, with the German Lutheran minister officiating. Mr. Brandt had been a resident of the Holyoke community for about five years. He was stricken with heart failure early on the morning of Wednesday, September 19th, and died immediately. Though the family has been here but about five years they have occupied a very prominent place in the social life of their community and leave many friends saddened by the loss as well as the more immediate family. Mr. Brandt was born at Milford, Nebraska on March 26, 1879 and was nearly 50 years of age at the time of his death.
