He was a heavy equipment engineer, and a member of Union Local 825, Newark.

He is survived by: two children Mrs. Hilda Voorhis, with whom he made his home, and Mrs. Mae Williamson; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Cranmer and Mrs. Margaret Danley; fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Rev. George Gross of St. Paul's Methodist Church, New Gretna, officiated at the services which were held at the Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home.
