Description	:	A tractor accident in the field last friday claimed the life of William C Dillin, who farmed northwest of North English. The body was found in the field on Saturday by Donald Wyant. Dr Burns Byram, Iowa County coroner, found that Mr. Dillin had died in an accident involving the tractor. There were no witnesses to the accident. Funeral services for Mr Dillin were held at 2:30 pm Monday afternoon, Dec 13, in the Powell funeral home, North English.The father Raymond J Pacha officiated. William C Dillin was born April 30, 1888 in Iowa County, son of T R and Amy Murrin Dillin. He died December 10, 1965 at his farm home at the age of 77 years. He was married to Elsie Seaton and had lived on the present farm for 45 years. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Lloyd and Robert; three daughters, Mrs Florence Meyer of Marengo, Elaine (Mrs. Alfred VanDee) and Esther (Mrs Floyd VanDee) of North English; 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren, one sister, Mollie Berry of Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Leonard; a grandson, Gary Vandee, four brothers, Charles, Tom, John, and Herman, and by one sister Clara Berg.
