Description	:	William Dachtler Obit Wm Dachtler was born in Wurtenburg, Germany, May 25, 1853, and departed this life March 12, 1929 at his home in Milford, aged 78 years, 9 months and 17 days. In 1875 he came to America and after spending some time Illinois finally located in Nebraska. On December 25, 1878 he was united in marriage to Miss Lena Birkey of Crete, Nebraska. They lived in Crete two years and then moved to their farm southwest of Milford. For 26 years they farmed in different communities in the surrounding neighborhood and in 1906... In 1875 he came to America and after spending some time Illinois finally located in Nebraska. On December 25, 1878 he was united in marriage to Miss Lena Birkey of Crete, Nebraska. They lived in Crete two years and then moved to their farm southwest of Milford. For 26 years they farmed in different communities in the surrounding neighborhood and in 1906 moved to Milford where they since made their home. He was converted in 1893 and united with the defenseless Mennonite Church, of which denomination he was a member at the time of his death. Dachtler who has lived nearly fifty years in Milford community passed away at his home Tuesday, March 12th. Funeral services were held at the M. B. C. Church at 2:30 Thursday, Rev. N. E.
