Mr. Anstey engaged in farming near Cumberland until 1913, when he retired and moved to Creston. During his years in Creston he served the city as councilman for two terms. Mr. Anstey engaged in farming near Cumberland until 1913, when he retired and moved to Creston. During his years in Creston he served the city as councilman for two terms. He was a member of the Catholic church and the Holy Name society. He is survived by three sons, A. H. of Rustburg, Virginia, A. W. of Cumberland, and Pfc. George A. of Minneapolis, and four daughters, Mrs. Audrey Saunders, Gladys Anstey Jennings, and Vivienne Anstey, all of Creston, and Mrs. John Byers of Cumberland. His wife preceded him in death in 1928. One son, Clive, is also deceased. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Vitus Stoll at 9 a.m. Monday at the Immaculate Conception church and burial will be at the Reno Catholic cemetery at Cumberland. The body will be taken to the home on North Birch Street on Saturday afternoon.
