Description	:	SHARP, WILLIAM DeBea "PAP" - age 95 of Claxton, passed away Monday, November 6, 2000, at St. Mary's Residential Hospice Center. He will be remembered by the many folks who watched for his friendly wave as they passed his home daily. Mr. Sharp was a 32 degree Mason of the LaFollette Lodge #623 F&AM, the Knoxville Scottish Rite and the Kerbela Shrine Temple. He was a retired Campbell County business owner and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Sarah Reed Sharp; brother, Hinton Sharp and sister, Lassie Sharp Hill. Survivors include son, Paul Sharp of Brookville, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Pernia Sharp of Claxton; daughter, Charlotte "Polly" Best of Claxton; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Fred McCarty of Dayton, Ohio, eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff of 3 West at Methodist Medical Center and at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. A Masonic service will be held 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2000, at Woodhaven Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow, with Rev. Charles Parker officiating. The family request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to St. Mary's Residential Hospice, 7477 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37938. Family and friends will assemble at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2000, at Campbell County Memorial Gardens for the interment service.
