Description	:	WILLIAM E. BOWERS SIGOURNEY -- Willaim E. Bowers, 80, a retired farmer and businessman, died at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Ottumwa hospital after five years of poor health. He had lived in Sigourney all of his life except for the past 16 months, when he had lived at Elsie's rest home here. He was born August 27, 1872 in Sigourney, the son of John Henry and Clara Bowers. He was preceded in death by two brothers, and one son. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Baptist church in Sigourney in charge of the Rev. Walter Clark. Burial will be in the West cemetery near Sigourney. The casket will be taken to the church at noon Tuesday from the Community funeral home in Ottumwa.
