Noel, 72, of 8329 Corrington, died Thursday at Research Medical Center. He was born in Clarence, Mo., and had lived in Kansas City most of his life. He was an employee of the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company 34 years before retiring as a construction foreman. He was a Lutheran. Mr. Noel was a member of the East Gate Masonic Lodge and the Commandery. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Loretta C. Noel of the home; a son, William E. Noel, Jr., St. Louis; a daughter, Mrs. Mickey Jane Bowes, Los Angeles; a brother, Howell J. Noel, Mount Vernon, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Lorentz, Shelbina, Mo., and Mrs. Mary Lee Quinley, Clarence; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
