He married Carrie Ellen Koontz, on May 17, 1903, they lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa for many years, and had seven children together. His wife Carrie passed away September 18, 1928. Read More	When William Ellsworth Walden was born on May 16, 1881, in Chillicothe, Wapella County, Iowa, his father, Charles, was 27 and his mother, Nancy, was 25. He married Carrie Ellen Koontz, on May 17, 1903, they lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa for many years, and had seven children together. His wife Carrie passed away September 18, 1928. He married Lillie G Walden in 1930 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. ---------------- "William E. Walden, 62, a long-time former resident of Council Bluffs (IA), died at his home near Orson (IA), on Saturday morning, (October 23, 1943). Mr. Walden had lived in Council Bluffs for many years, leaving there about six years ago (1937) to go on an acreage near Orson (IA). Mrs. Walden died in 1928. (At the time of his death) He is survived by one son, Bernard, of Cashmere, wash.; five daughters; Mrs. Marie Dolquist of Minnesota, Mrs. Bertha Wakehouse, Mrs. Hazel Jolliff, Mrs. Thelma Anderson and Mrs. Thorea Hunt, all of Council Bluffs; three brothers, Emett R., of San Bernardino, Calif., Fred E., of Glendale, Calif., and James R., of Omaha, and two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Fields and Mrs. India Lees of Council Bluffs."
