Mr. Elsing taught for several years at the Aberdeen Business College and in the business department at Northern State College. From 1954 to 1957 he also was employed by the Employment Security office. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Harvey G. Feustel officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Huebl Chapel from noon Thursday until noon Saturday and at the church from 12:30 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. Saturday. The casket will not be opened following the service. Relatives are requested to meet in the church basement at 1:30 p.m. Mr. Elsing had served as a member of the Zion Lutheran Church council for many years and also was a member of the choir. He served on the building committee for the present church. Born Sept. 7, 1890 on a farm near Mansfield, Mr. Elsing attended rural schools near Mansfield and is a graduate of Northern State College, with a bachelor of science degree. In June of 1923 he married Rosa Liefeld at Eureka and they established their home in Aberdeen. Mrs. Eising died Oct. 10, 1938. Mr. Elising's second marriage to Cecelia Krause of Java, look place July 14. 1956. In addition to his widow. Mr. Elsing is survived by a daughter. Mrs Leland (Ruth) Gallipo, Aberdeen: one brother John Elsing, Mansfield: five sisters. Mrs. Fred (Mary) Borchard and Mrs. Albert (Pauline) Angerhofer, Aberdeen: Mrs. A. J. (Helena) Markuson, Mansfield: Mrs. Hulda Cover. Peoria. Ill; and Mrs. Robert (Johanna) Aldrich. Big Stone City. There are four grandchildren.
