He was an Englishman by birth, and was drafted to serve in the war with Napoleon Bonaparte, who was taken prisoner before Uncle Billy was in any engagement. He had lived in this country many years and married and raised his family here; had been a member of the U.B. Church twenty five years and was as a shock of corn, ready to be garnered in his eighty-ninth year. He has been an eventful...
