Description	:	Son of Ed and Irene Flynn and was raised there graduating from Valley High School in 1948. He attended Midland Lutheran College and Wayne State College, where he was inducted into the athletic hall of fame. Bill joined the Navy in 1951. He served in Korea on the USS Symbol Minesweeper and in 1954 returned to Valley. In 1955 he purchased the implement company that became Flynn and Larsen in Fremont. He also was prededed in death by his parents and brother Richard. Bill was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Fremont Golf Club, and was an avid duplicate bridge player. He found purpose in life through his children, grandchildren and business. He is survived by daughter, Patty Dillon (husband Sid); son Ric Flynn, both of Fremont, NE; sister, Shirley Larsen (husband John), of Fremont, NE; four grandchildren Alex and Billy Flynn and Chase and Dana Dillon; his sister-in-law, Patty Calliham (husband Max); numerous lifelong friends.
