He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Jimmie Nell Williams of Graceville, FL; 2 sons, Billy Williams and wife Patricia (Patty) of Graceville, FL, and Bobby Williams and wife Shirleen of Cottondale, FL; brother, Pat Williams and wife Martha of Graceville, FL; 2 sisters, Jean Moore and Ruby Pelt of Graceville, FL; 3 grandchildren, Travis Williams, Clay Williams, and Cheryl Reardon; and 6 great-grandchildren, Colby, Taylor, Luke, Jade and Hunter Williams and Ian Reardon. Funeral services were held Feb 28, 2011 at the First UMC in Chipley, with Rev. Jerry May officiating. Burial followed in the Galilee Methodist Church Cemetery in Graceville, with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley directing. Pallbearers asked to serve were Clay Williams, Travis Williams, Cheryl Williams, Timmy Miner, Gary Owens, Wink Carmichael and Steve Carter. Honorary pallbearers were J. B. Williams, Glenn McEntyre, Ed Franklin, Paul Gordy, Wilton Kolmetz, Charles Williams, Wade Martin and Joe Cooley. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the First UMC Building Fund, 1285 S. Jackson Av., Chipley, FL 32428.
