Turner, 77, Had Lived Near Floris For Sixty Years; Funeral is Tuesday. A lifetime resident of Wapello county and a well-known farmer, W.F. Turner, 77, died Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at his home near Floris. He had lived near Floris for sixty years. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ora Hancock of Ottumwa, Mrs. Iva Hancock of Floris route 2 and Mrs. Millie Hancock of Cheyenne, Wyo.; two sons, Harve Z. and Ross E. of Floris route 2; two sisters, Mrs. Anne Rupe of Des Moines and Mrs. Bitha Elston of Downing, Mo. and one brother, N.B. Turner, of Downing, Mo. His wife, Mary, preceded him in death eight years ago. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the home and at 10 a.m. at the Church of Christ, Floris, conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Floris.
